Cool Breeze...

We went out for a little walk at a park today.... Although I love this time of the year, I also hate that the sun goes down earlier... But the weather is so nice in the evening. We enjoyed the cool breeze tonight. 

Donuts and things...

Donuts... Homemade donuts... I know. Yum. I made these donuts for my visiting teachee and sister missionaries. And yes. For us, too, of course. I've made donuts before but these were better. The dough shaped well and it tasted good, too. 

After writing a little note for my visiting sister, Sean and I goofed around a bit with Aaron. We wanted Matt to come and play with us but he was in the other room playing with blocks. He did build a nice tower, though.

오늘은 교회에 다녀온후 집에서 사진을 찍었는데.. 준이 진우 모두 잘 웃고 해맑게 잘나와서 너무 기쁘다. 이렇게 찍은 사진 바라만 보고 있어도 행복한게 엄마의 마음인가보다...  

 

 

Our family took some pictures after church today. We got some good ones so I'm happy. The first picture of Matt cracks me up. I swear Matty had 10,000 different facial expressions that he can make... He's hilarious. We got some cute outfits for Matt and Aaron yesterday for church... I love it!

My New Nikon!

I finally got a brand new DSLR camera! I've been wanting one for a long time - so I'm stoked. Sean and I shopped around everywhere to compare between four models (two Canons and two Nikons). I always thought that I'd choose Canon over Nikon but after spending a lot of time reading information about different cameras, I ended up with a Nikon D5100. I am new at taking photos. I mean, I've always taken pictures for my food and family blogs but never with a DSLR. I can't wait to improve my photography skills. I know I won't be as good as a professional photographer but I'll sure keep trying. Here are some photos Sean and I took today just after getting the camera...

    We saw several ladybugs on our tree this afternoon. Matt had never seen a ladybug in person! I thought he'd get excited to see and touch one since one of his favorite storybooks is called "The grouchy ladybug" but no, he got scared and ran to his daddy.
