This is my new favorite primary song. I heard this a few months ago when Sean was getting ready for a ward primary program for sacrament. It is a great song. It defines a family well and basically about the proclamation to the world. I love it. I hope you like it too!

The Battle...
Lately, Matt has been fighting to nap.... He used to fall asleep really fast if I sang to him but now, it takes at least an hour and a half for him to finally asleep for naps. Is it already time to cut naps from his schedule? I don't really know. But if he doesn't nap, he will get really fussy for the rest of the night until he sleeps and his fussy noises are my least favorite sounds in the world! I have little patience when it comes to the fuss... So it's been a little frustrating.
We are in the market for a new toddler bed. We looked at Walmart and Sears but haven't found one that we liked yet. We'll see.

Mostly Matt
Matt has been watching me wearing the apron way too much, I guess, because he picked it up last night and brought it to me and fussed until I helped him put it on. He loved it and won't take it off until he had to go to bed. What a funny kid.
He played with the ball in the apron.
Like daddy, like son. Matthew loves being in charge of everything. When he sees us do things on our laptops, he would come and sit on our lap and try to take over. So Sean gave him an extra mouse that wasn't plugged to the laptop but Matt didn't care because he thought the mouse was working.
Cute
Matt doesn't really like wearing hats but one night he put one on and let me take pictures of him in it.
After church
He ate some chocolate treats and this is what happened.

October Update
October has been a good month for us so far... except Matthew and I have been sick with a cold. There was a sick baby at church who sat in front of us and what do you know, two days later, we got sick. Matthew suffered more than I did though. Poor baby. He could not sleep through the night and I only got to sleep one hour the first night we were sick. Sean stayed home from work so I could rest a little. What a sweet husband I have. That night Matthew seemed to be doing better but the next day, it got worse for him because he wouldn't stop crying all day. It was pretty hard. I lost 3 lbs just trying to take care of him and make him stop crying! After leaving our humidifier on all day yesterday and today, both Matthew and I are feeling much better.
Anyway, I wanted to share some pictures of the family. We haven't done anything too exciting but Matthew is growing fast as you can see in the pictures. He's pretty tall for his age. He is starting to understand a lot of words all of sudden. When I say things, he reacts and understands. For example, when I give him trash and tell him to throw it away in garbage, he takes it to the garbage and throws it away. His favorite activity is to throw away his poopy diapers in his diaper champ in the bathroom. He gets upset when I forget to let him do it. I'm totally fine with it. I love it when he does little chores like that. I think he might be ready for some potty training as well because he doesn't really like his diapers anymore and he tries to undo it whenever I'm not looking. I checked out a potty training book so we'll see. He also understands "prayer", "close your eyes", "fold your arms", "blink your eyes", "can you bring me the remote", "TV", etc. He loves singing! I sing him to sleep for his naps and night sleep. He loves it. He started doing the hand motions to the itzy bitzy spider song. It's so darn cute! I will have to tape it and post it on here soon.

Sean and Matthew
I don't know where he picked it up but whenever he hears a loud noise, he plugs his ears with his index fingers. It's hilarious.

Sean has been losing some weight and I think he looks great! He goes to early morning spinning class twice a week, plus some intense workouts in the evening. Good job, Sean!

Bishops Pumpkin Farm
On Friday, our family went to Bishop's pumpkin farm. We had a lot of fun! We got to taste the most amazing pumpkin chocolate chip cake... mmm.... so yummy! We also went on a little train around the farm. It was Matt's first experience on a train like that and he loved it! Matt loved picking out good looking pumpkins. He wanted to get all of them, I think, but we settled with two. A big one for me and Sean and a little tiny one for Matty. We went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch and it was really fun, too. I think we want to make it a yearly tradition. :)

Going Private..
After giving much thought, I finally decided to go private with our family blog. As I post many private matters on this blog, I am afraid that some weirdos out there might use any information he/she gets on here to do bad things. Yes, I am paranoid. But you can't be too cautious nowadays... I'm just worried that Matthew may be overexposed.... especially now that I'm getting more and more traffic on my food blog. I don't want strangers to come read my family blog.
So if you want to keep reading my blog, please leave your email address or send it to me to my email at sookbunton@yahoo.com I will add it so you could still view my blog. I don't usually update pictures on facebook anymore (and I'm also trying to stay away from it for a little while) so this is the place to come to see our family updates and pictures!
Thanks very much! I will switch it to private in a week from now. So let me know if you want to continue to be updated. Thanks again!
