Brotherhood...

Now that Aaron is a little older, Matt likes to talk to him and play with him. Aaron absolutely loves it when Matt makes an eye contact with him or talk to him. It's adorable. I love that these two will always be brothers and it is my hope that these two will always love and care for each other. Here are some cute photos of them together... and Aaron from this afternoon...

Toys

Matt likes to play with his cars... and Aaron loves biting everything... even a blankie. 

Super Matt!

Matty brought me a blanket and asked, "Mommy, I wanna be Super Matt. Can you help me put this on?" It cracked me up because he'd never seen Superman before but apparently he knew about Superman and what he looked like. So I tied the blanket around his neck and he was so happy. 

Then he put the blanket around his head and asked me to tie it for him, like a little red riding hood's cloak. Again, I have no idea where he's seen it but he looked adorable... 

Oh, and Matt got an owie on his cheek, that is why he's wearing that huge bandaid... Yikes.

준이가 오늘은 나에게 블랭킷을 가져오더니 앞에 묶어달라고 했다. 왜그러나 했더니 슈퍼맨 되고 싶다고 해서... 아 귀여워. 슈퍼맨은 언제 배웠지? 그러더니 블랭킷을 머리에 묶어서 너무 앙증맞은 모습에... 내 새끼지만 너무 사랑스럽다~

Matty can spell!

Matt is a smart kid. I don't like to brag but he just is. He learned his letters (both the letters and the sounds) and numbers when he had just turned two. He's always been interested in books and now he's trying to learn how to read. The other day, he was playing on Super Why website on my laptop and he asked me how his name is spelled. I told him M.A.T.T. Just once. That was it. The next day, my visiting teachers came over and somehow they asked Matt if he knew how to spell his name. Matt acted like he didn't know so I thought there's no way he'd remember it especially since I've only told him once. Then he was messing with letter floor mats. When I was about to tell him not to make a mess, I realized that he was gathering four letters to spell his name.. M.A.T.T. I was so surprised. He had remembered how to spell his name even when I'd taught him only once. I was so proud of him. Then the other day, he asked about my name so I told him how to spell it, too, just once. Then he remembered that, too, and surprised me and Sean when Matt said mommy's name is Sook, S.O.O.K. What a smart kid!

Lick the Bowl Clean

Matty and I made some brownies today. He was really excited about the brownies since he loves to help mommy bake and also because he knows that he gets to lick the leftover batter off the bowl. I think he might like the batter more than the actual brownies...

 Of course, he had to go clean up afterward... he is a very clean three year old. He went to the bathroom and cleaned up his face and hands using warm water and soap. Good job, bud!

오늘은 준이랑 함께 브라우니를 만들었다. 준이는 내가 맛나는걸 만들때마다 너무 너무 좋아한다. 엄마도 도와주고... 그 다음에는 그릇에 남아있는 초코렛을 핧아먹을수 있으니까... 신나게 먹고 얼굴이랑 손씻는것은 필수. 준이는 워낙 깔끔해서 혼자서도 알아서 비누랑 따뜻한 물에도 잘 씻는다.

In the backyard

Matt was playing in the backyard with some chalks. He likes to draw, especially pizza. He draws pizza with all kinds of toppings. His favorite topping is chocolate so yes, his favorite color might be brown even though he claims that blue is his favorite.. (I should've taken a picture of his drawings.. maybe next time)

 준이가 뒤뜰에서 노는 중에 사진 몇장 찍었어요. 커다란 분필로 피자 그리는거를 아주 좋아해요. 피자토핑으로 초코렛 그리는게 제일 좋대요.. ㅋㅋ

I have been playing with Adobe Lightroom (I'm trying out a free version) and I love it! I love this picture of Matt and I love how it looks in black and white and sephia. It's the same picture but it looks/feels different.

I can't decide which one I like better.

Camera Shy?

Matt's usually not very camera shy but lately, he has been. He won't give me his natural smile or cute expressions so I'm a little frustrated. But out of 100, I got these four pictures that turned out well (in my opinion). I love this guy.

준이가 요즘 카메라 앞에 서기가 부끄러운가봐요. 계속 이상한 표정만 짓고 준이 특유의 이쁜 미소와 표정을 잘 안짓네요. 그래서 슬퍼~ 그래도 이 사진 네장은 그나마 잘나온것 같아 뿌듯해. 귀여운 우리 준이!
